Flexible Pavilion

This deployable review space employs a system of responsive, interconnected components to facilitate visual and functional flexibility.  The system allows the space to be altered for varying program requirements, such as lighting for different types of review in different weather conditions, capacity requirements, and type of work displayed.  The pavilion is intended to be deployed for several months, and once assembled is highly adjustable on a daily and moment-to-moment basis.

This project was selected to be published in “Work 09-10”, PennDesign, 2011.  It was also featured in several in-house shows.
