NICHEoutside

As Staff Architect at Tyler Engle Architects, I managed the interior construction of NICHEoutside, a 250 square foot shop for garden-inspired goods in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle.  I was involved in the project from Design Development through Construction Administration and worked closely with the clients to fine-tune the design.  Our goal was to make every inch of the space both functional for customer interactions and aesthetically complementary to the clients’ beautiful goods.  The shop is part of an indoor market in the Chophouse Row redevelopment, so customers can walk between NICHEoutside and the adjacent shops without leaving the building, or they can enter from the mews just off of the main Capitol Hill shopping district.
